Hello World

A lot has happened since my last post. I know I have been neglectful, but we can safely say that mom is to blame. Anyway, the biggest and most life-changing news is... I GOT A BABY SISTER!

Her name is Lulu, and we do everything together. Mom and dad brought her home last October. Although she's still a puppy, she has grown up so much. It's been a long time since I've shared my life with a sibling, so it's taken some getting used to. Between you and me, followers, she's a tad on the bossy side. Mom says it's because she's a girl. I have quickly found that the best thing to do is let her do what she wants, which sometimes means giving up my bones. In all sincerity, she's the best thing that has happened to my life, second to coming home with mom and dad of course. I'm so excited to have another dog to share my life with.

ANOTHER huge event that took place was my first birthday party. I turned one year-old on March 5th. Mom bought me a cake and invited all of my favorite family and friends over for a celebration. There was a ton of eating, and lots of presents to open. My favorite toy came from my Auntie Kay, it's a bug that when squeezed, its eyes pop out. Amazing. Here is a photo of the celebration! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Hmmm. What else? It's finally nice outside, being able to play in my backyard is so much fun. I was a tiny bit leery of the snow, I didn't take to it as much as Lulu did. I'm much more content in warm weather. Cannot wait to go play later this afternoon, but for now it's nap time in our house. Mom said Dad will be back from the railroad anytime now, it will be so good to see him, I know mom misses him a lot.

Well, I promise I'm going to be better at updating this blog. My Auntie Katherine is leaving for Peru soon, so mom said we need to get on a lot so we can follow her adventure in Peru. Until next time!

Kisses

Strawberry Frozen Yogurt

Hey Followers,

Tonight has been a great night. It started off as I patiently waited for mom to get home from work. I was sitting in my usual spot in the window, watching but not making any noise. Mom was running late, but eventually she made it home for me. I ate dinner quickly and then mom took me for a fast walk to the park. The sidewalk across the street was finally fixed, so I didn't have to walk through the grass.

After mom and I got home, Auntie Katherine came over for a "girls night." My auntie loves to play with me, and lets me lick her even though shes allergic to my tongue! We all relaxed for awhile. It was nice to be included even though I'm a boy. Later we went to Goodrich for some frozen treats! Mom gave me my very first licks of strawberry frozen yogurt, which got all over my chin (Auntie Katherine told me it was okay to make a mess because I get groomed tomorrow.)

The night was turning out great until I started to get an upset stomach. I didn't want mom to know the yummy treats hurt my tummy, so I went and hid downstairs where I pooped in the closet, I just couldn't help myself. Good thing mommy loves me A LOT. I guess that's why I'm not allowed to eat human food.

Well, it's time to go curl up on my blanket and get ready for bed. Until next time,

Kisses
